INDIVIDUAL NOISE PROTECTION WITH ACTIVE CONTROL

A.SONIC ear muffs with active noise control.

A system of individual protection capable of attenuating even low frequency noise.

The A-SONIC is an advanced technology piece of equipment for the protection of hearing, specifically designed for noisy work places such as aviation fields, textile industries, cement plants, engine testing rooms, steel works, heating plants, roto offset printing works, panel beating works, etc.Prolonged and constant exposure to this kind of noise caused various physiological and psychological problems.

Operating Principles:
The A-SONIC ear muffs use two complementary attenuation systems: the passive protection attenuates noise at frequencies above 500 hertz and the "active" reduction technology (cancellation of the electronic signal) for noises between 30 and 500 hertz, which cannot be efficiently attenuated with passive systems. The "active" part of the system functions as follows:* the microphones located in each ear protector reveals low frequency noise;* the microprocessor analyses this data regenerating in real time a wave of opportune width and phase;* this "anti-noise" wave is transmitted by the amplifier to the loudspeaker situated in the ear protector;* when the original noise and that of the "anti-noise" meet the disturbing signal and the global acoustic pressure undergoes a considerable attenuation before it reaches the ear.The active system adapts continually according to the variations in environmental noise.

SOUNDPROOF CLADDING FOR INTERIORS

The technique of Soundproof Cladding makes it possible to attain considerable reductions in environmental noise, since the reflected or reverberated acoustic energy is almost completely eliminated.
The operation consists of installing special soundproofing elements, which guarantee a high coefficient of absorption (AS) on the walls and ceiling.
The elements used for the cladding of the walls have an external layer in steel with various finishes (stainless steel, aluminium, zinc coated, pre-painted, etc.) 6/10 cm thick.
These systems are widely used in the food industry, panel beating, the packing industry and carpentry shops. The ceiling cladding includes soundproofed elements known as baffles.

SOUNDPROOFING FOR SUBWAYS AND TUNNELS

As is known all the surfaces surrounding a tunnel contribute
to amplify the noise generated by road traffic.

The soundproofing consists of applying noise reducing cladding to the walls and ceiling, coordinate with special paving. In this manner the tunnel becomes a dissipating silencer which makes it possible to considerably reduce the sources of linear noise represented by the traffic.

SCHALLSTOP ACOUSTIC BARRIERS FOR EXTERIORS

The SCHALLSTOP acoustic barriers have been designed to acoustically and physically isolate those sources of noise situated in a free area, such as for example: refrigerator compressors, transformers of electrical energy; condensers and all types of machinery and system installed outdoors.

They have a support system in steel and noise reduction and soundproofing elements.
SUPPORT STRUCTURES
Steel section Fe 360 (UNI 7070/83) complete with plates, counterplates and log bolts for fixing at the base.
NOISE REDUCTION AND SOUNDPROOFING ELEMENTS
External cladding in prepainted, light alloy (Al Mg2 Mn).The part towards the source of noise is perforated. The part towards the reception point is ribbed in order to forma an monolithic whole of considerable mechanical resistance. The internal padding is in bakelited volcanic rock fibre, nonflammable, rotproof and protected on the surface with dustproof fabric.
EKOKIT ACOUSTIC BARRIERS FOR EXTERIORS
Thanks to the patented profiles in extruded aluminium the EKOKIT barriers offer both excellent acoustic performance and attractive appearance. Their lightweight but strong bearing structure is especially suitable for installation on viaducts and bridges or in any situation where weight is an important factor.
SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The profiles are in curved, box section aluminium. Inside the profiles are noise reduction and soundproofing elements placed vertically. Thanks to the special profile (dap jointed), the vertical elements guarantee perfect acoustic performance.
NOISE REDUCTION AND SOUNDPROOFING PANELS
EKOKIT noise reduction and soundproofing elements consist of an external surface in prepainted galvanised steel, using the COIL-COATING procedure.
TRANSPARENT SOUNDPROOFING PANELS
The transparent panels can be of polycarbonate or metacrylic. In both cases raw materials of the highest quality and highly resistant to U.V.A. rays are used.
